Then Vesuvius erupts and the game flips entirely: now you are desperately evacuating your people while lava tiles consume the city block by block. The two-act structure creates a unique arc, from strategic placement to panicked escape. Tossing your opponents into the volcano is darkly satisfying and entirely encouraged.
