Who it's for
Gateway gamers who enjoy tile placement with a currency management twist.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want deep strategic control. Tile availability and currency draws add significant luck.
Buy building tiles using four different currencies and place them into your personal Alhambra palace, respecting wall-placement rules. The currency system is the key: pay the exact price and you get an extra turn; overpay and you waste money. Three scoring rounds reward the player with the most tiles of each building type. The wall-building constraint creates a spatial puzzle as your palace grows and you must maintain a continuous outer wall. Spiel des Jahres 2003, and a gateway game that rewards both new and experienced players.
